Tomatoes are the crown jewel of the farming season, but can be difficult to deal with year after year, especially if they are grown in the same location, like a high tunnel or small garden. This workshop combines classroom lecture and hands-on demonstration to teach the essentials of grafting, which can improve yields and overall plant health.

Learn the science behind grafting and best practices for high tunnel production of grafted and non-grafted tomato plants. You’ll go home with two grafted tomato plants, a copy of the presentation, and instructions on how to care for your new charges.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Organic Farmers Association members receive 25% off all workshops. If you are a veteran, you may be eligible to attend educational events for free. Please email veterans@rodaleinstitute.org for details.

Online registration closes at 2 PM EST the day prior to the scheduled date.
