Guided Golf Cart Tours
Walk it, bike it, cart it—when it comes to exploring the farm, you have options!
We’re offering golf cart tours of our Kutztown campus every Thursday during the growing season, May through October, rain or shine.* Joining a tour is easy, but preregistration is required. Use the form below to sign up for a morning (11am-12pm) or an afternoon tour (2-3pm).** Tours are limited to 11 people.
*Tours may be canceled should severe weather conditions present.
**Please gather at the Visitor Center 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
Overview
Rodale Institute’s tour guide will lead you, family, friends, and other guests on a one-hour guided tour, on which you’ll learn about the history of the farm, our research projects (pastured hogs, demonstration gardens, apple orchards, compost production, and more), and how Rodale Institute is helping heal the planet through regenerative organic agriculture. We know you’ll enjoy riding our 12-passenger golf cart, affectionately named “Benny.”
Registration
Online registration closes at 9 AM on tour day.
Cost: $12.50/person
