Film Series: The Food Cure

Join us for a community screening of the documentary film The Food Cure in Rodale Institute’s theater, located next to the Garden Store.

The Food Cure is a 2018 documentary that tells the tale of six people with cancer who pursue non-conventional treatment for their disease. Instead of turning to traditional measures such as radiation and chemotherapy, these patients fight their cancer with a stringent plant-based diet. The film follows these individuals over more than five years and documents their outcomes along the way.

Ticket holders will enjoy complimentary refreshments and have the opportunity to take a self-guided walking tour of the Rodale Institute farm.

A donation of $5 or $10 to Rodale Institute is suggested. Donations in any amount support Rodale Institute’s work conducting research on the benefits of organic, training new regenerative organic farmers, and communicating the advantages of organic for people and the planet.
