FREE
When pest populations climb, beneficial insects in the environment can have difficulty controlling the situation. They need backup and farmers often turn to augmentative biological control, or biocontrol. Releasing mass-reared insects like ladybeetles, minute pirate bug, lacewings, etc. is a great way to quickly tackle pest pressure but there are best management practices farmers should follow in order to increase their efficacy. This presentation will walk through how to choose a biocontrol and best practices for releasing them.
