August 25, 2023 @ 3:00 pm5:00 pm EDT

Come spend an afternoon in the healing, medicinal gardens at Rodale Institute and enjoy learning about the wonder of herbalism.

We will gather under the shaded Pavilion in the heart of the garden and begin our time sharing wisdom and sipping herbal tea infusions made from the plants growing around us. Our tour through the intimate garden will include the medicinal and magical properties of plants such as Echinacea, Calendula, Tulsi, Lemon Balm, St. John’s Wort, Comfrey, Valerian, Goldenseal, and more!

Afterwards, we will demonstrate how to make an oxymel (honey vinegar infusion) with some of the plants harvested from the garden. Participants will also have the opportunity to craft and take home custom tea blends. We hope that you will feel inspired to continue incorporating these herbal allies into your own garden and life.
