Join us for a community screening of the documentary film Eating Animals in Rodale Institute’s theater, located next to the Garden Store.

Eating Animals takes a close and critical look at the factory farming industry and what alternative producers are doing to create a more humane future for American meat, dairy, and eggs. “Most people object to animal cruelty and environmental degradation,” says the narrator, “and yet suffering and disregard for the environment have been built into [our current system’s] equation of cost and efficiency.” What will it take to change the course we’re on?

In addition to viewing the film, visitors will have the opportunity to take a self-guided walking tour of the farm and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

There is no fee for attending this event, but Rodale Institute welcomes donations. No matter how large or small, your donation goes a long way toward supporting Rodale Institute’s efforts to champion organics and create a healthier planet for all.
