Tine weeding is one of the most effective methods of “blind cultivation” on organic farms. However, tine weeder performance varies dramatically with different models, settings/adjustments, and timing. In this webinar, Rodale Institute crop consultants and guests will compare tine weeding models and discuss tine weeding strategies to improve early season weed control for corn and soybeans. The webinar will cover newly available models and commonly available used options, as well as resources for farmers to improve decision making about timing and aggressiveness of tine weeding passes.
