Do you enjoy reading? Are you passionate about human and environmental health? Interested in meeting other like-minded people and discussing groundbreaking ideas? Then consider signing up for the Book Club, now entering its eighth season!
Members will meet one Sunday in June, August, and October to discuss the current month’s selection, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and take advantage of special discounts at the Visitor Center.
The 2020 reading list includes:
- Fibershed: Growing a Movement of Farmers, Fashion Activists, and Makers for a New Textile Economy by Rebecca Burgess
- Kiss the Ground: How the Food You Eat Can Reverse Climate Change, Heal Your Body & Ultimately Save Our World by Josh Tickell
- Tipping Point for Planet Earth: How Close Are We to the Edge? by Anthony D. Barnosky and Elizabeth A. Hadly
