Presented by: Dr. Yichao Rui, Director, Farming Systems Trial

Why is soil carbon so important to humans? What role are soil and agriculture playing in climate change? Can regenerative agriculture save us by regenerating soil carbon? In this talk, Dr. Yichao Rui will illustrate the processes how carbon is accumulated in the soil, the critical role of microorganisms in soil carbon transformation and stabilization, and how such processes can be disrupted (or reinforced) by the way we farm.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person event—a virtual option is not available.
