To decide to transition to organic, you need to learn about the market potential in your region.
Hear from an experienced panel, including a fourth-generation farmer, a BIPOC food hub, the California Farm-to-School program, and one of the most respected organic distributors. This session empowers small-scale and BIPOC farmers in California’s Central Valley with organic production practices and market access. Translation in Spanish and Hmong will be provided.
This work is supported through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) and the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) State Organic Program & Office of Environmental Farming and Innovation. TOPP is a program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).
