Join NOFA NJ and Rodale Institute at Marolda Farm in Vineland, NJ for an afternoon farm tour and discussion on successful buyer-seller relationships.

During the farm tour, learn about Marolda’s split Organic/Conventional management, diversified wholesale production, improving soil health and implementing organic practices on both OG and Conventional fields for improved farm outcomes. After the tour, enjoy local food and refreshments while participating in a stakeholder conversation on successful wholesale partnerships with notable South Jersey producers, distributors, and institutional buyers.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about accessing wholesale markets and scaling up to meet buyer demand. This event is free; Registration is strongly encouraged.

About Marolda Farms

Marolda Farms is a second generation vegetable farm started in the late 1970s on twenty acres by the Marolda brothers Richard Sr. and Joseph Sr. In 2008 Richard Jr. started an organic division on five acres of fallow land under Sweetvine, LLC utilizing the organic label “Rock N Roll Organics”.

Today, Marolda Farms, Inc./Sweetvine LLC run a split operation covering 350 acres (approximately 200 acres of conventional production and 150 acres of certified organic production). The two companies service various wholesale distributors encompassing various sectors including the retail, food service and processing markets.
