FREEJoin us for a community screening of the documentary film Food as Medicine in Rodale Institute’s theater, located next to the Garden Store.
Presented by PBS39, Food as Medicine explores the modern-day American diet and its impact on human and environmental health. Filmed on the grounds of Rodale Institute’s 333-acre organic farm and in PBS39’s kitchen, the film showcases the Institute’s pioneering work connecting soil health to human health. It also includes a cooking demonstration featuring chef Erik Oberholtzer, founder of Tender Greens, and Dr. Scott Stoll, founder of Plantrician Project, who make a compelling and delicious case for a whole foods, plant-based diet.
In addition to viewing the film, visitors will have the opportunity to take a self-guided walking tour of the farm and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
There is no fee for attending this event, but Rodale Institute welcomes donations. No matter how large or small, your donation goes a long way toward supporting Rodale Institute’s efforts to champion organics and create a healthier planet for all.
