On our farm

333 acres of organic research, education and outreach

When we moved to our current location in 1973, Bob Rodale envisioned a farm that would become the epicenter of the organic movement. On our certified organic farm, we have a diverse operation including compost, livestock, vegetables production, compost, greenhouses, small grains, gardens and 1100 certified organic apple trees.

Our farm is the basis for all of our research, education and outreach. We’ve created a variety of demonstration projects that can be replicated on farms and in communities throughout the world, bringing us one step closer to realizing our vision of an organic planet.
