For the city dweller and suburbanite alike, join our experts to learn the basics of container gardening. This in-depth workshop will cover annual, perennial, as well as edible container gardens. You will come away with a greater understanding of which plants grow best in containers, proper soils to use, how to use organic fertilizer, what container options are available, how to correctly water/ maintain your container, and how to design your containers for greatest impact. Afterwards, take a stroll around the gardens of the historic Rodale Institute Founders Farm.
