April 4 @ 10:00 am12:00 pm

This workshop will show growers and farmers of all skill levels the ancient art of grafting. This workshop combines classroom presentation and hands-on grafting for a well-rounded educational experience. We will discuss the science behind the graft as well as how grafting can improve the yields and health of the plants. We will also discuss good practices for high tunnel production of grafted and non-grafted tomato plants. At the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with two grafted tomato plants, a copy of the in-class powerpoint presentation, and instructions on how to care for their grafted tomato plants.

Space is limited, pre-registration is required.

If you are a veteran, you may be eligible to attend educational events for free. Please email veterans@rodaleinstitute.org for details.

Online registration closes at 2 PM EST the day prior to the scheduled date.
