Presented by: Dr. Andrew Smith, Chief Operating Officer

Although great advances have been made to develop non-chemical strategies to manage pests in agriculture, the amounts and toxicity of chemicals used on farms in the United States continues to increase and is highest among all developed countries. This conversation will cover the current state of agrochemical use in the United States, why we are using these chemicals, and how we can begin to wean ourselves off of chemical dependency.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person event—a virtual option is not available.
