8:30am - 3:30 pm

This annual wagon tour of the Rodale Institute’s 333 acres will feature dozens of research and demonstration projects conducted by the Rodale Institute’s staff and interns.

We are proud to welcome our new Chief Scientist, Dr. Kris Nichols, at the Field Day as well!

Partners from USDA-ARS will join the Rodale Institute staff to present the latest research results from the following projects: Weed Management, Compost, AM Fungi Inoculum, Marmorated Stink Bug, Farming Systems Trial® and Agriculture Supported Communities.

Dr. Hue Karreman will conduct a tour of the pastured dairy project, a partnership between Rodale Institute and our neighbor James Burkholder.

Also featured will be the Rodale Institute Honeybee Conservancy, Chicken and Pig Heritage Breeds, the Apple Orchard and the Water Purification Eco-Center which uses constructed wetlands to treat wastewater.
