9:30am - 3:30 pm
This one-day event will feature dozens of research and demonstration projects on Rodale Institute’s 333 acres farm.
In addition to presenting the latest research results from the many current projects on our farm, participants will learn about the soil building practices and compost experiments conducted by Rodale's staff.
Research partners from USDA-ARS along with Rodale staff will showcase projects that compare organic tilled and no-till systems in vegetable and agronomic crops, production and utilization of inoculum of AM Fungi systems, Farming Systems Trial® and Agriculture Supported Communities.
Jeff Moyer, Farm Director at Rodale Institute will conduct a tour of the Pastured Dairy project, a partnership between the Institute and our neighbor James Burkholder.
Also featured are the Tree as a Crop project and the Water Purification Eco Center that uses constructed wetlands to treat wastewater.
