SUMMARY:2021 Annual Organic Field Day
DESCRIPTION:Join Rodale Institute’s researchers and staff to learn the latest results of our research projects and visit nearly 20 demonstration stations on our 333-acre experimental farm. Participants will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with Rodale Institute experts and learn about a wide variety of research and demonstration projects\, all focused on organic agriculture. \nStations will be set up throughout the farm\, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore our living laboratory by walking or enjoying a leisurely wagon ride from site-to-site. \nGo at your own pace at any of our stations\, including: \n\nFarming Systems Trial (FST)\nVegetable Systems Trial (VST)\nIndustrial Hemp\nHigh Tunnels and Grafted Tomatoes\nOrganic Vegetable Cropping\nComposting\nNo-Till Management\nPastured Hog Production\nHoneybee Conservancy\nFarm Shares & Farmer Training\n\nTuition is $25/person. Please bring your own lunch (there will also be food on-site available for purchase). If you are a veteran\, you may be eligible to attend educational events for free.
