SUMMARY:On the Road: Soil Health Field Day at Stroud Preserve
DESCRIPTION:The event will feature soil health and water quality research as part of a six-year project comparing organic\, conventional and conservation farming systems. Scientists from Stroud Water Research Center and Rodale Institute will discuss and demonstrate various measurements and instruments in-field\, below ground\, and in-stream. We will also discuss organic versus conventional farming issues\, as well as the restoration of streamside forest buffers. \nThis is a free event and will include a complimentary lunch. Pre-registration is required. \nRSVP Here\n \n Please dress for the weather. Some walking will be required\, although some participants can ride in a provided vehicle. Please do not park at any other preserve entrance; space is limited to 50 people.
