Collaboration Strengthens Soil-To-Supplement Supply Chain Through Hands-On Agronomic Support, Storytelling And Educational Events
KUTZTOWN, Penn.—June 2026—Rodale Institute and Ancient Nutrition announced a continued strategic partnership with refinement designed to accelerate the transition of U.S. farmers to organic and regenerative organic practices while deepening the authentic stories connecting growers, the supplement brand and the science behind soil health.
Through the partnership, Rodale Institute’s Organic Consulting team will provide comprehensive technical assistance and certification support to farmers producing ingredients for Ancient Nutrition’s product line. The collaboration encompasses agronomic advising, soil-health improvement, organic and Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) certification preparation support, plus storytelling and educational farm events that engage retailers and internal teams. The partnership will also focus on dairy-sector insights to deepen stakeholder engagement and explore supply-chain opportunities in livestock systems.
“Ancient Nutrition shares our conviction that nourishing people and protecting the planet begin with healthy soil,” said Sam Malriat, Organic Consulting Director at Rodale Institute. “This partnership allows us to support farmers in transition while amplifying how regenerative practices create nutrient-dense ingredients that matter. We’re honored to work with a brand also committed to supply-chain transparency and soil stewardship.”
Rodale Institute brings unparalleled expertise in regenerative and organic agriculture, including a 44-year side-by-side comparison trial of organic and conventional farming systems, localized research centers across the U.S. and a global footprint that includes the European Regenerative Organic Center in Parma, Italy. The Institute has previously partnered with General Mills, Patagonia Provisions, Davines Group and other leaders committed to sustainable sourcing.
“We believe supplements should be rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science, sourced from farmers who are actively healing the land,” said Kristie Cerutti, VP of Strategic Partnerships and Impact at Ancient Nutrition. “Rodale Institute is uniquely positioned to help us achieve that vision. Their 78 years of rigorous research, 30+ technical consultants and direct farmer relationships make them the ideal partner to strengthen our regenerative organic supply chain.”
The partnership kicked off in April 2021, with a renewed focus beginning in early 2026 to generate reporting on acres impacted, farmer profiles, certification milestones and project outcomes, ensuring transparency and accountability for both organizations and their stakeholders.
“Healthy soil means healthy food and healthy people,” added Malriat. “This collaboration proves that the market is ready to invest in regenerative practices that serve farmers, consumers and the planet equally. We look forward to working directly with Ancient Nutrition’s supply partners to make that vision real.”
