Do you strive to support nonprofit ventures and charitable causes? If you’ve answered yes to these questions, then volunteering at the Rodale Institute Garden Store might be the perfect fit for you!

Job Description: The Garden Store is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with daily operations.

Location: Rodale Institute Garden Store, 611 Siegfriedale Road, Kutztown, PA 19530

Responsibilities Include:
• Customer service and checkout
• Helping create new merchandise displays
• Answering phones
• Checking in new inventory orders
• Stocking shelves
• Watering and pruning plants
• Housekeeping

Candidate Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive and friendly demeanor
• Enjoy working in a retail establishment
• Knowledge of and interest in organic living

Compensation: Receive a 20% discount at the Garden Store after completing 18 hours of service. Attend a Rodale Institute workshop for free after completing 50 hours of service.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am-4pm from early April to late September.
