About the Program

Rodale Institute and Delaware Valley University (DelVal) created the 36-credit, one-year Organic Farming Certificate Program to prepare students to enter the rapidly-growing organic industry. Organic Farming Certificate Program students spend two semesters in the classroom at Delaware Valley University and one semester in the fields at Rodale Institute. Learn more about the program.

Career Options

Organic Farming Certificate Program students gain the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to start a small-scale organic farm or work for an organic operation. The program offers assistance with job placement and developing business plans for farms so that participants can easily move into rewarding organic agriculture careers. Affording the Program

DelVal is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon School. The Organic Farming Certificate Program is eligible for enrollment by veterans who would like to use their education benefits. Financial aid is also available for non-veterans. Learn more about affording the program.
