“Farming to create heaven on earth” is a goal that stretches human imagination to humbling dimensions.

In her 10 stories of this series, fine arts photographer and agricultural journalist Lisa Hamilton broke new ground in communicating between cultures and world views. She was graciously welcomed by the leadership and farmers of the Shumei Natural Agricultural Network, who shared deeply and lovingly with her.

She listened with new ears, and succeeded in bringing to NewFarm.org readers a different way to understand the calling to farm within the bounds of nature in ways that build world peace one farm at a time.
