Farm Photo Friday: October 18, 2013

Every Friday we share some snaps from our 333-acres in Kutztown, PA. Our photographers? The staff members who keep this farm chugging along. Enjoy a sneak peek at what’s going on here at Rodale Institute!

Look who dropped in to visit with Cynthia James and learn about our
Agriculture Supported Communities operation. It’s Jaime K. from Save The Kales! TV show!

Our new friends Mr. Tuggs and Irwin are officially in their new permanent home.

Aimee Jo gives Mr. Tuggs the tour of his new place. She says he loves it around here!

Compost specialist Rick Carr taking soil samples and testing carbon sequestration at two collaborating
farms as part of the Path to Organic Program. One is a small farm growing a few high-value
crops such as strawberries and asparagus, the other is a 40-acre livestock farm.
(Read more about the project in soil health section of our site.)

Don’t forget…Share the organic love!
