Farm Photo Friday: November 15, 2013

Every Friday we share some snaps from our 333-acres in Kutztown, PA. Our photographers? The staff members who keep this farm chugging along. Enjoy a sneak peek at what’s going on here at Rodale Institute!

Our new high house is a thing of beauty, and we can’t wait to start growing in there!

Heather follows the schematics to ensure that the assembly moves along properly.

Erica and Sam do their part, working form the bottom, up…

…that way Cynthia can attack the project from the top, down!

Hogs are beautiful, and thus quite photogenic.  However, they’re very willful and thus make very poor models.  To get a photo of the beautiful Venus, Coach is tempting her with pumpkin treats.

Coach tempts into a photo Venus with some delicious broccoli leaves.  Venus can’t resist!

The piglets are growing so fast, but they still go a little crazy when Coach comes to visit.

Some piglets even waited in line to get some quality time with their old buddy, Coach.

Here, Jessica Feeser presents to the Farm Based Education for the 21st Century Workshop on the topic of Life in the Soil.

Don’t forget…Share the organic love!
