Farm Photo Friday: July 25, 2014

Every Friday we share some snaps from our 333-acres in Kutztown, PA. Our photographers? The staff members who keep this farm chugging along. Enjoy a sneak peek at what’s going on here at Rodale Institute!

Now that summer is in full swing, the farm is bursting with color. With our produce, animals and flowers, we have every shade of the rainbow on display!

These bright red lilies in the Demonstration Garden attract a lot of attention, both from humans and pollinators.

This pumpkin’s orange hue would make a perfect jack-o-lantern… too bad October is still a long way off.

This yellow summer squash looks ready to be harvested!

There’s no shortage of green here on the farm, but the bright shade of these peppers really stands out.

Remember the rye that Ross was inspecting last week? Well, this blue tractor helped harvest it today!

This vibrant purple Cleome does more than look pretty – it’s also beneficial because it attracts pollinators! This one is planted with the peppers and helps ensure that there are plenty of bees to go around.

Even though you’ve already seen some purple from the Cleome, these purple beans were just too cool to pass by.

Marigold’s brown coat may not be the most colorful thing on the farm, but he certainly is cute!

Don’t forget… Show your organic love!
