11:00 am - 12:00 pm

What is compost and why is it important? For most individuals, it’s a tool to satisfy two requirements: waste management and supplying beneficial microbes and nutrients for your garden. Rick Carr, Compost Production Specialist at Rodale Institute, will be discussing the basics of compost, how to compost, and why so many people are taking advantage of composting. Other topics to be addressed are scale, compost biology, and challenges associated with composting. Please join Rick for his dynamic presentation on composting and learn how everyone can be a Master Composter.

There is no registration fee for attending this class but pre-registration is required.
