Organic farm wins $1 million in damages against neighboring farm for pesticide contamination

Jacobs Farm in Santa Cruz, CA won a suit filed in May 2007 against nearby Western Farm Service for pesticide damage to the farm. The pesticides, which volatilized and drifted after being sprayed, were found to trespass to the non-target property, contaminating organic dill, sage, and rosemary crops.
