Getting kids to eat

Most kids are naturally averse to trying new foods, especially healthy foods. But tricks like engaging kids in the meal preparation process, leaving the bribes and coercion behind, and modeling healthy and experimental eating can slowly make worlds of difference in a child’s attitude. Parents should learn a relaxed and neutral posture in regard to nutrition, since kids are prone to avoid foods that parents push, and likewise crave those that they restrict.
