Small farmers neglected by funding policies

Current policies are preventing funding for small farmers with environmentally important land. Regulations make many small farmers in countries like Romania ineligible to receive aid. “EU and national policies, financial support and technical advice are not reaching them” Dr. Yanka Kazakova of the WWF Danube-Carpathian Program is reported as saying by the Environmental News Network, because their land is not classified as agricultural.
