Water stored in dams preventing sea levels from rising, study says

According to a recently published study, water stored in reservoirs behind dams worldwide has stemmed the tide of rising sea levels due to global warming. The research, conducted at National Central University in Taiwan, says that without the dams sea levels would have risen 1.2 inches more than they have, or 30 percent more, since 1930. Full story
